Hi i have a Honda GXV140 engine and a victa frame i have bolted it onto the frame but the shaft looks a little bit long. Has anyone hear done a similar engine swap with success

hi wilx, motors fitted to Victa frames have always had a short crankshaft, you will have to fit a spacer ring under the motor, your local mower shop should still have them.

ok thanks ill have to order one they didnt have the blade boss in stock so they may not have the ring

what type of a boss you looking for ? i might have one or another member too . one with sort of wings ?

also be sure the bolt is correct when swapping bosses ........ a lot of different lengths a tip

the mower bloke know what one i needed and i have a few bolts laying around to mount it the boss i think is the wavey plate one idk
