My Gravely compact pro has this engine which is a little under-powered in the rough stuff (it bogs down) I understand that some fairly basic changes to the carby can boost the power....the throttle-shaft. Am l correct in using a throttle-shaft for a FX600V? will it work?
a bit of digging reveals it is the same shaft. It seems the only difference between the 481 and 600 carby is 2 small springs....I've been getting info from a thread on lawnsite regarding changes to the 19-25hp engines but it now doesn't seem to apply here, so what can I do for more oomph?
