Hi, Just joined after buying my first old mower. I have been told it is a Qualcast PM,
I bought it because a workmate gave me two old Villers two stroke engines and it took me back to when I was a kid going down to the local dump dragging home an old mower and seeing if I could get it to run. So now Im sort of hooked!
Question If I may, is there anyone in the group that knows about identifying and dating Qualcast Mowers.

A warm welcome to these forums.

I am yet to write about Qualcasts here, but they have played a significant
part in Australian vintage mower history.

I do not recognise the 'Qualcast PM'; although I do recognise 'Qualcast Power Mower'

My personel interest lay in your Villiers Engines...What model are they? Are they spares and do you have any images you could post...

There are quite a few members here who have specific interest in Vintage engines as well as mowers/machinery...

These are great mowers - and made in AUS and ENG.
Yours is a made-in-England machine... A 'Derby Qualcast'
