Hi!

I just picked up a supercut type 17 with a 20in reel.
Its not too original so I plan just to have a really functional mower that I can use
At this stage it needs a lot of minor works to get it cutting again.

Can anyone explain why I cant download the PDF's

thanks I will go subscribe and support this forum.

I have just picked up a parts type 17, 17 inch wide, even came with the original engine and crank handle!

Will be parting it out to keep other mowers going!

There are a few dedicated Model 17 owners on these forums.
There are a greater number of followers, showing classic signs of
'Model 17 envy'. These are, after all, Penfold Grange quality.

The Model 17 was the pinnacle of lawnmower design of the time -
in terms of quality of design and quality of workmanship.

It doesn't matter whether 'its not too original'.
With TLC, these machines will prove to be very rewarding.

A warm welcome to the ODK Forum, we all love to tinker and learn here.

I also have 2 Supercuts, one is a one owner unit and the other is identical but in a much poorer state which is also my spare parts unit as no parts are available at all.

BTW I'm not trying to be petty here but there was no 17 inch SC made, rather it will probably be the 18 inch machine which was probably the most popular size in petrol (domestically) and the 20 inch in electric.

Anyway you'll find lots of valuable information here at the ODK.

my parts mower might be 16'', haven't measured it. amazing quality consturction. shame parts are so hard to find

Admin Team, once i have paid my subscription (mowers) how long till activation?

Keen to tear down my mower but i want to read the manuals first.
