I really appreciate the complexity of written instructions.
That is an amazingly generous offer you have given to twolwfthands here.

Thank you on behalf of ODK.

Here are some more images to support dieselboys image.

Exploded clutch arm parts.

Clutch arm unit.

Been a while since I've done this, but I would remove your cutting deck.
Loosen engine mounting bolts, slide engine back to loosen belt.
Remove belts from clutch arm.
Them you should be able to remove the linkage from the pedal and clutch arm bolt.
You should be ale to remove the unit from underneath.

Now you are into stripping it down, to clean and inspect all parts, replace your cone.
Did you get written instructions with the new cone?

Thanks very much Dieselboy and Mark, your help is much appreciated. it seems like a bloody complicated process to me. I was given the rideo-on about a week ago from the inlaws, by all accounts it runs needs a battery and came with a new drive clutch cone which does need replacing before using, but no instructions, the fellow it was brought from said you just undo a screw here and there and bobs your uncle, no wonder it was cheap lol, oh well i am gonna have a crack at it, thanks again guys.
