Went to the Balaklava Show to display some Scott Bonnar items so I thought I would take a few pics while they were all out. The mowers are Suprecut s/no. SCP 769, Bonmow s/no BM 08918 Centenary s/NO C 764 Model 48 s/no 04544 and Model 38 edger s/no 13488.

The model 48 does run, but the starter is fairly worn (both mechanical and human)

I love the display board!
There's enough bean slicers there for a salad bar.

It's great that the public get to see and are reminded of the SB name
and machines. If you only had a Lightning green feed cutter ...

Is the Supercut a 14 or 16 inch?
Any favourites?

Geoff, thanks for keeping SB Alive.

Well Geoff it really is a fantastic machine and if you feel that you need to re-home it (at any time) please let me know it would be a truly awesome sight to see the two together. Also I'd love to see some more pictures of it too.

The Supercut is a 14", I believe it to be c1954.
I like the Centenary, have still to get it running, but there should be no real problems.

Still looking for a Lightning, maybe one day.

I feel I may be keeping these machines for a while, I might even add another one or two if they happen to come along.

If you thought 4 bean slicers was a lot, here is some of my collection. Not sure why I collect mincers and bean slicers, I don't even use them.

Yes, but one day you may feel the need, and you will have one, and,
should it break or fail, you may have a back-up. And if it should fail ...

I think this is a great collection ... and a reflection on the passion
for collections. This one would have made a great story on ABC's Collectors.
Absolutely amazing!

You certainly haven't minced about.
