Nope.... 13.50 till the last minute then got done.

I set my limit days ago at 70$ and they topped it, which I thought surprising, but then it was a pretty tidy example.

Its all good, ill just wait for My AD to come along...

Besides My Missus is already gonna slap me when she finds ive been hitting the Predicta Rear Flap pretty hard lmao....

If you wanted it that bad I would have bowed out and kept it for you, just needed to know your limit smile

I was really only getting it because it was up the road, and if it was to my taste maybe to collect in the future smile

Yeh but you are closer and you wanted it.Would have been easier for you to get it.Not to worry hopeful another one in the same or better condition will pop up.

I think he was thinking of this one, which is a Mark II not a Mark I for a starting bid of $61.50. Just a bit to much for a Mark II.

Recycling and Repairs
Good morning guys. I've been reading information on the VC Autodrive and found this article from the forums Collectors Corner very helpful in working out what model I may have. It also has pictures of both the MKI and MKII (larger rear wheels) bases showing the difference between the two.
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=23537
I believe I may have the 1973 V136 Mark II model. I was yet to look over the machine, so I had to go and have a quick sqizz and grab some photos to post.
Compression, after 3 1/2 pulls, was around 76 psi, but didn't check for spark at this stage.
It will need some TLC along with replacement of damaged and missing parts.
Has a metal carburettor, as can be seen in the photos (hopefully).
Intention was to check it out, get it going and sell as a lawnmower, but after reading the forums, they are becoming more for the collector than the user.
How would you value this machine located in Nambucca Heads (near Coffs Harbour)?
Hope fully these few photos of the machine I have here will help.

There is a VC Autodrive listed on eBay. Starting $30 listed as "Not working" missing gearbox and carby hanging off. Located in Victoria. Ends 25/10/2015, so hope you read this in time.

Sorry Bushy I know this post is about 10 months old I guess I missed it due to my time away, but yes you are correct.Your mower is indeed a 1973-74 VC-160 Auto Drive Mark II V136.If it has the original engine the number should start with 10673 or 10674 depending on year of manufacture. This was the only model that had the chrome hub caps and the only one in this colour scheme that run the G3 carby.
As for price or worth?Well as you know they are more a collectible now and not a user mower, and condition is everything. There was one just recently sold in Melbourne and it was in absolute beautiful condition.I myself had problems on not purchasing it.It was also a Mark II.
It sold for $99.90.A bit of a surprise as I thought it would get more,if I was going to bid I was going to go way over that.I just had a freight issue that I would have had to deal with as well. That's why I didn't. So I guess if that sold for that much I'm not sure yours would fetch that amount, but how many people in your area are after one? That's of-course if you still have it.

Here for a good time, not a long time.
