Good score, very jealous over the Villiers. I have a 10 and a 20, on the lookout for a 12. Never thought you would find a complete Villiers at the tip ! Well done

I grab those lawnbeetles whenever I can.
Theyre usually cheap/free and it gives good spare mufflers, carbies, starters etc OR I just chuck the engine on a different base. Just need to be sure you use the right spacers or the height will be wrong. The base then makes for a good sign out the front of the house.
Stick it on a pole with a stripped out engine bolted on with a sign on the pole - free lawnmower dumping here...

The best thing to shine them up with is $2 clear spray paint, it works a treat. Wash them down, let them dry and spray away. I bet that's what Chris uses.

Lol No smoke and mirrors here... Eeeeeeeew clear coat that's just nasty bigted! Anything steel has had a fresh coat of black paint (edit apart from the handlebars I may or may not do them meh could/should I be stuffed....?), plastics have been treated with my special plastic home brew elixir and will last a month or two even if left in the sun.... And yes tis true squizzy I polished a turd and I kind of feel dirty now lol..
