Well well , i've finally sourced one of my favourite ' daily mow' mowers, ( that's the mower you mow with everyday!! ), a Victa 505 self propelled.
There not easy to find these days i've found, and this one's a ripper , I sold my last one a long time ago thinking it would be easy to get another, but as blumbly's found after chasing a certain VC, they can start disappearing pretty quick, the only problem is..... it's missing the catcher, so if anyone has / knows of one, please let me know, hope i dont have to wait as long for one..

hmmmmm got one here too but with a techumseh on it ??? wish it didnt though , you know if they had the same tank only thing this has it the tank holding slots on back of top coweling

dont think the Techumseh had the big tank vc, i reckon the two stroke was the best option ,and with the 3lt tank you could mow all day.

i figured yeh , didnt have a tank on it , or mounting for another

if you could mate that'd be great....i come over to the Barossa in October so could arrange to pick it up, just make sure it's the BIG catcher!! ( looks the same as an 18" but is bigger )

hey vccom, found an old brochure of the 505's with the Techumseh engine , and it has the big tank fitted, same as the two stroke, so there's something i learned today!!
