Anyone heard of this 70s Autodrive Variant...Post VC? Export? Is it a 21" Never come across this before.

Hello HT6 and Contributors

This must be an export machine.
The reality is that the UK and Europe were more amenable to the idea of
electric mowers in the 1970s. The marketing strategy in Australia was to
restrict the electrics to the small 'terrace' size - the Lightweights.

Here's an example of an electric Mustang.
It is amazing that Victa also made an electric Autodrive!

I was almost certain it was an Export as Its location is in The UK, and Id never come across any reference to this before.
The curious thing also, was that its also displayed alongside an Aussie copy of the traditional VC autodrive brochure, making me think that it may have just ended up in the UK.


I will attempt to get a copy of some or all the pages for the archives and maybe some background history, and hopefully an importers name.

Very unusual indeed....
