Hi all, I have a victa 2 stroke lawnmower for which i am trying to identify year & model, I am also trying to establish if the carb is the correct carb for the model, and if the cc is 125 or 160.
The mower has a label attached stating it's model as MCA 281A. Engine # is EN 72916Z, also it has the numbers 98 stamped above the letters EN.
The carb is the black plastic type but I can't establish from the pictures I have available if the carb is the LM type or if it is a G4, although it is definitely one of the two types- or maybe even a mix of both types, I do have however some ( i assume) part numbers taken off individual carb parts as follows:
part # item CRO 3604A carb body CRO 3501A float chamber cap (white)
The poppet valve in the carb body is white ( is this the correct coloured valve for this body, or should it be a black one? the float chamber cap is of the type that has no indexing tangs on the inner edge of the cap.Any help with this would be appreciated
thanks Bryce

Bryce, The year that it was made was between 1996 & 1997 and it is a power Torque engine which is 160cc. The carby is a LM type and the standard setting 'C' on the valve. All information is in the parts list and manuals area of this forum.

Thanks for the info re the LM victa carb Bruce. One other question for you- is the ignition cut-out switch (that is mounted in the carb body) avialble as a separte item? If not what sort of cost would I be looking at for a new LM carb?
Thanks Bryce

nz635, Yes the wires can be bought as a separate item and would cost around $5.00.

voodo, The numbers are not much help as the carby is a G4 type and the en number is a cylinder that is no longer available. The starter part does not come up at all. Can you start a new topic and post a picture of the machine.
