Hi All , the problem persists . I have no fuel leaks but had one at the new fuel tap . Silicone fixed that . Any better suggestions ?
Would the long fuel hose between tank and carby cause fuel starvation on a slope . I have never had the problem before until the new hoses were fitted .
thanks for any help you can give , cheers troppo2

Mate I have one that is brand new. I have to mow steep inclines. Same problem. Have to mow it with a full tank and the cap uphill. I find it easyer to pull it backwards. Then go ahead. good luck

success , hurray , replaced the fuel in the tank , rinsed with a bit of fuel . lots of small black bits came out . filled with new 25:1 mix . filled tank to just above fuel filter , half full i suppose . mowed my whole slope again , mower never stopped or tried to . thought i tried half full first , well it works .
thank you Bruce looks like the fuel or blockage was the problem . Seanw you might try that too . cheers to all on this wonderful site
