Hi Guys I have 2 old victa 2 stroke mowers what mix should I be using,(25to 1.1/2 pint to a gallon of fuel) one mower just wont break out and run, it just seems to be choking and is blowing oil smoke. It just wont break into two stroke running correctly .The other one runs nicely on the same mix im using about 390 mil in the mix std fuel. How many mls to 4.5 liters thanks graham

it sounds like there might be something wrong with the first one... 100 mls of semi synthetic oil to 5lts fuel for 50 to 1, or the old fashion way of 200 mls of mineral oil to 1 gallon.
I always come back to an Echo

or 200mls of 2 stroke oil to 5 liters of fuel. Don't use the 2 stroke outboard engine oil as it won't like it. Being a 2 stroke mower it would run at 25:1 mix. As squizzy said there could be something wrong with the first one.
Here for a good time, not a long time.

At 30:1 could be a bit dry, just be careful after all the oil is there to lubricate all the moving parts inside the engine. And they do get hot.
