I have a brush cutter that has a TM 24 Mitsubishi motor and it has started to leak up behind the motor, do I have to separate the motor to get the tank off as there are no screws, just some holders on either side of the motor which seem to clamp on to the fuel tank. It seems to be leaking at the top area where it looks to be repaired on the tank photo. What do you use to reseal it
You will need to remove the engine cover, starter assy and maybe crankshaft access cover. The tank is just held in place with rubber bushings. As for gluing, this is HDPE plastic and there is not much of anything that I know short of plastic welding that actually bond to the plastic.
