Does anyone know of a swap meet or the like around south east QLD or northern NSW this year?

That depends on what kind of swap meet you are after as there are many different types of swap meets like I have herd of this one in February.

So there are heaps of them about,just not sure which one you are looking for.
This one at Toowoomba I belive is quite a large swap meet and does cover a lot of different things.I have herd good things about it.In fact I am thinking about going and having a look myself this year.

The next Toowoomba Swap Meet is on:
Saturday 7th February & Sunday 8th February 2015 at the Toowoomba Show Grounds
The Swap operating hours are 6am to 6pm, Saturday and 6 am to 1 pm Sunday.

Special Note: As of 3rd January, 2015, the 2015 Toowoomba Swap is 100% booked. Be aware that there will be NO sites available at the gate on the day. No vehicle only passes will be handed out; all vehicles MUST have site stickers attached to the windscreen to be permitted entry to the grounds. Replacement stickers incur a $15 charge. Site bookings cover the rent of the site, one vehicle, the driver and one passenger for camping over the weekend. All extra passengers must purchase a two-day pass for $15. NO EXCEPTIONS!

The Toowoomba Swap Meet has 1756 sites. Many of these are rebooked by the end of the Swap Meet.

Is there such a thing as a mower and outdoor power equipment swap meet?

Not that I have ever herd of.
However at the Toowoomba swap meet there will be mowers there for sure.They most likely won't be new but there will be mowers there.
