Are they the models you were after?
Only asking this as you said your collection in complete. Yet they are different makes and era's.Although there are 3 Victa's there.

Congrats on the collection. I'm especially envious as you have obtained a Victa 18 in what looks to be outstanding condition.
Try as hard as I can, I just cannot get my hands on a good example.
What I do find are ones that have been painted in leftover green metallic with a 2 inch brush from an art class two years ago and wanting a squillion bucks for it because their mate said geez its old that's worth a ship load! Or others I found were original unrestored and complete, asking minimal dollars and they sell before the sellers keyboard has cooled off. Others I buy even pay them in advance and then the seller says oh bugger ive already sold it. I have given the dream of owning one of these aussie icons away.

What I was really wanting to reply to was the idea of a collection being complete. ir73 do you have a theme for your collection?

I just want to add my congrats on a nice collection as well...You don't really appreciate a collection to you see them lined up on a nicely manicured lawn...Well done mate!

To Unimog74, don't give up on your finding a good example of a Victa 18 Special...Just post in our "Wanted" forum...you never know what will come out of the woodwork, one thing in your favour is that they made heaps of these....and your name will be on one of them....
Good luck and good hunting! grin
cheers

yes i wont be getting anymore as i just dont have the room to store them but if i could find a pace premier mower from the very early 70s i would make the f@#%&n thing fit
these are exacatly the machines i wanted to me they have a story and meaning to me
when i tracked the vortex down on friday night and it was in blacktown i was very very happy they have sentimental meaning to me specially getting dads tac running again and the vortex they remind me of him
cheers Paul
