I must admit as DeeJay has said it is a very unusual colour indeed and also the ID plate being Green on Silver opposed to Black on Silver.
A real beauty for the "survivor" category in a museum.

You,ve got a great eye for detail, BB, the ID tag is unusual in the colour....my genuine Scotty 45 has the anodised aluminium tag with red and silver....obviously Rover even in the early days of the merger, wanted to assert their stamp on things.

I stopped advertising it a while ago, because I wanted to sell it to a collector or someone who understood what they were buying. But most people just wanted a mower, and were worried about old it was!
