Hi,
I currently have the M230 powerhead with many attachments, but i am looking for just a backup trimmer.
This comes after my M230 Powerhead finally died and is now in for repair, my stihl trimmer also broke the pullcord and echo trimmer doesnt have a head... (Wheres your head at?)

I was considering using the 22T for some commercial operations and as a backup trimmer,
the Shindaiwa M230 would be just for the edger and hedge trimmer while the 22T will do ALL trimming.
The M230 will only be used until for those chores until i finally buy a new Trimmer head as my current one is worn out frown

Any help would be highly appreciated and i do have a budget, Shindaiwa is the way I will be going

Hi Jarryd,
The Shindaiwa 22T is a 21.1cc lightweight domestic trimmer that would be OK if you were only using it on one or two lawns a day...It would not last very long in commercial use; and, is not designed for that application. wink

The Shindaiwa T260X is a much better option and is placed between the domestic and professional models.
Most contractors use a 24 to 25 cc engine which gives long life (carefully maintained) and has the extra grunt when required. wink
Hoping this answers your question. grin
