Hi I am wondering if anyone can let me know where I can get my reel and bedknife ground in the hunter valley NSW? Any help would be appreciated cheers

Hi Scotty84, and a warm welcome to the forum. It's great to have you aboard.  If you contact your closest Bowling Club and speak to the greenskeeper, ask them where they get their reels and bedknife blades sharpened. They are usually a friendly bunch and will help you with good advice.  Once again,  to OutdoorKing.

Hi there Deejay, did you get the name and number of the guy in Adamstown that grinds reels? I need a grind done on a Scott Bonnar model 45 I recently purchased, my location is Newcastle and any recommendations would be appreciated.

Hello Harris, The best advice I have seen on these forums is to mosey down to a local bowls or golf club and ask them. It is important that you deal with a grinder rather than an agent of a grinder. Agents are just tacking over $100 onto a job that they don't even do.
Most of Adelaide's mower shops are doing just that and are merely sending the work to Adelaide's major cylinder grinder in Pooraka to be done.
As Jack has suggested just go to your local Bowling / Croquet club and ask who's doing theirs and that will be your answer.
