Hi All,
I'm Looking for a Owner's User Manual for a MacCulloch Super Airstream IV which I've just been given - hasnt been started in years! (400048-13)
Also I can't get it to start, It seems to be burning fuel in the carb that I prime it with but then wont suck up the fuel.
Cheers,
Joe

The problem will be a combination of things.

1. Replace fuel filter in tank.

2. Replace fuel line from tank to carby.

3. Replace carby diaphragms.

Also before doing the replacement of parts I would be removing the muffler to check the cylinder and piston for damage. bigshock

I will look to see if I have an owners manual and upload it next week to the parts list and manuals area under Questions on blowers. cheers2

Hi, Thanks for the reply.
I replaced the Fuel filter it was completley clogged!
The fuel line looks Ok, but will replace soon.
Also as suggested, I'll have a look at the diaphram and cylinder/piston (fingers crossed).
Cheers!

MACairstreamIV,

Replace the fuel line as well because the cost is only about $5 max. If the diaphragms are stiff replace them as well and all should be ok. cheers2
