Hi all,
I started a project a few months ago of restoring an old 45 and to be quite honest I simply havent had or have the time to complete it.
Numbers are 80202 173502 86011003
It is currently pulled down to the chassis.
The engine runs but needs a carby overhaul. it also requires a new clutch assembly. The blade and bottom plate have been ground.
I would be happy to give it to someone who would get enjoy bringing her back to life.
Pickup from Cleveland Brisbane only.
Regards, Craig.

Hi Craig, just to help everyone understand this machine, I notice from the Briggs engine's Code that the engine was made 10 January 1986, so it may have been replaced. This means we have no idea when the mower was made, and whether it is Series 1 (solid deck), Series 2 (twin rail), or after the Rover take-over. People will also be wondering what its cutting width is. I'm sure you'll be over-run with people who want the machine whatever its vintage and model, but it would be interesting to everyone to know what it is. Could you perhaps post a picture of the mower's frame?
And thank you for your generous offer.

Thanks for that update, Craig. If you wouldn't mind, could you or SB Obsession report back when the matter is completed? Then we can close the thread.

Hi to all, As this machine was clearly a Model 45 Scott Bonnar, and not a Rover 45, I have amended the thread title for archival purposes.
Please do not PM me asking for support. Please post your questions in the appropriate forums, as the replies it may receive may help all members, not just the individual member. Kindest Regards, Darryl
