I have a ransome kick start minor mk7 and I am chasing a metal fuel tap can anyone point me in the right direction?

I have also an old victa cylinder mower as as the ransome i am chasing the petrol tap for .the tap is down the mower shop I will get back and post photo soon

Wow, I have exactly the same ransome

The tap for the ransome is an ewarts tap brass with a cork seal.

Ebay it and have a look you can buy them but the are not cheep. The thread on the tank is a odd size so replacement fittings will be hard to source should you want to rig it up with a different tap.
