Hey everyone,

Here's a newly designed and patented clutch set up to replace your aging and flogged out clutch housing.

Check out the just released photo of this product below,

WTF

Now that's an interesting bit of gear! grin
It looks like it has Rover Thoroughbred handles grafted on as well or is it just handle bar plate? Something strange is going on there! lol

They're certainly a growing trend that's for sure.

Oh no, I certainly hope not....(shudder!) That is definitely not the way to go....not good for the cylinder reel either. frown

The cutter clutch is an integral part of the mowers safety, being able to disengage the reel quickly in case of foreign object potential damage, or an accident. wink
cheers

I can't believe it as it seems that Scott Bonnar had already invented it many years earlier and found it not to be that successful !!!! LOL

Oh well Back to the drawing board.

BTW, I still can't work out why SB issued the Electric 14 Inch with an Ally rear roller and not cast iron.

Anyone want to try an ally roller on their petrol unit as they look much nicer than the dark steel units and I have one available for sale.

Cheers,
BB

Hi BB, like most things related to early Scott Bonnar, the decisions they made, eg.the alloy roller, will remain a mystery. ATCO used them on their lightweight 14" machines, but IMO, they were too light. wink
cheers
