Victa Torpedo Muffler

I was looking through some old parts and found some Torpedo Mufflers. One of them has the bracket welded to mount on the right hand side of the engine. I have never seen one mounted on the right before, has anyone else? At first I thought it may be a manufacturing fault but it has a label on it marked R/H and it has a part number but part of it is missing.

Victa sheerline and model 8A had the cylinders on backwards. I may be keen on one if the price was right as mine has had the guts blown out of it
