No probs mate
Hope it was a good one
Yes I rotated it to a section that isn't worn and it's all good so I think that's the idea
I purchased the later one however the mounting is different and bolt size totally different.
Any idea what is required to swap it out? Does anyone have some close ups of the later model tensioner in position?
Cheers
Mike

Hi Mike, and sorry for the delay in replying, I must have missed your post.
Here is a pic of the set-up of the chain adjuster, its just an angled slot that the adjuster slides up and down in and secured by the nut and bolt when the correct tension is reached...which is roughly 1/2" play in the primary chain, taken from the middle of the chain. wink

There is a piece of metal strap on the inside of the mower frame that the bolt passes through to stop dirt, water and grime getting into the chain-case through the slot. wink

You will see it here, Part Numbers: 35,22,23,39,34,and 33.

Thanks mate
The earlier tensioner is quite differant
I'll have to look into it further, it defiantly isn't a straight swap over

Hi Mike,
No mate, it is definitely not a swap over situation, but could be done in the future if needs be. wink
