I have come across an unusual cylinder mower to add to the collection.
It is a Thomas Green & Sons 'Flyweight" Motor Mower #F14 / 5926 14 " 2 stroke JAP motor made in the UK.
The unit is not running and is in an ordinary condition.
Does anyone have any pics or information where parts can be obtained.
Regards, Dave

I have an old Ransomes Minor mower in the workshop which is 14" with a crank type handle. It was running about 12 months ago as we repaired it for an old customer that does not want it anymore. I can forward you a pic of it if you like. Regards, Bruce ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/board/biggrin.gif)

Hi Dave,
I was wondering if you had any success with this Motor mower. I have recently come in to posession of one of these mowers as well and am looking at restoring it at the moment. Any ideas what year it was made?
Regards
Daniel

Hi there,
No idea what year it is but I suspect it is late 1950's.
We have managed to get it running but have no leads on the decals or other information on the beast.
I can send some pic's if that is any help ?
Regards, Dave

Dear David, I am restoring a JAP S80 and have found parts for this mower from Frank Jarky in Bankstown, Sydney. You can contact him on 02 97094923. Can you help me I need a chasis for my JAP as the engine I had did not come with a chasis. It is a rotary mower. Bore 46mm. Yours sincerely, Paul Rovali 02 91504434
