Well it's amazing what you can find in some of the most unsuspecting places. Came across this mower at Cash converters and thought "what the heck", worse case scenario i'll part it up and use the quantum on something else.
About the mower: It's a Hayter Harrier 48 self propelled roller mower. It's definitely different and i've never come across one before. Brought it home, put some fuel in it and started up first pull. Everything about the mower is functional and according to the engine code it was made sometime in 1991.
It's running a 12ci (190cc)quantum with a PTO to run the self propelled unit.
Thought i'd post it up as i searched Hayter on this site and it appears no-one has posted anything about these mowers on this site before.
Any comments, discussions or or general banter welcome.
Hayter have a UK based website and these mowers are still in production today.
