Hi all, I am having trouble with my mower hunting at full revs, I have replaced the bearings and seals in the engine and even put a brand new govenor spring on it (it was real hard to start when it was hot and the new seals fixed this right up) but I have been told to drill out the jet to the next size drill up which I have borrowed a drill set to this with so my question is has anybody done this mod and will it fix my problem? Just to clarify the hunting is not that bad but is noticeable and fuel tank and filter have been cleaned and carby has been cleaned out and it has a new fuel cap breather as well.

Hi Bruce, All the gaskets and the white spacer plate are all new genuine spares and I will try a new fuel filter on it before I try the jet drilling, It was from what I had been told from 3 different guys from mower shops that due to these originaly being designed for colder climates they like just a bit more fuel at the top end of the rev range, I was curious to know if anybody out there had tried this and it was worth the trouble? Thank you for your reply, any help is appreciated
