They are around I have come across a few of those myself. I guess just to cheap to put one on. Also  you will like it here.

It was a budget cut for thecheaper line of victa 2 strokes, along with that you will find they went back to the small air filter housings and several other deleted/cheaper parts.

No they were just a cheaper mower.They still had the ones with everything on them.They just made cheaper versions.

Yes, welcome Carvara, they were fairly common around 1999-2000. They disontinued them shortly after that. They most commonly came out on budget versions more likely sold through the larger retailers and appeared primarily on the red "vantage" models of the era.

Yeh, that's right i do remember the old red and rust hole ridden deck it came off had the remains of a vantage sticker on it and as i said it was a tip find and seemed like no one there even wanted it so thought what hell 5 bucks it looked different
