Hello,
Have recently found an Ogden mower. It is a Model B.
Has a TOR motor made by Trojan in England.
Engine Number is FX 21397 W. Has a Villiers carburettor, WICO-Pacy flywheel magneto.
Also have some spare parts. (Handle, frame etc as in pic. I am keeping the fuel tank)
Require better wheel cover plates with the name in them. I have the instruction book for this one.

I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

That brings back memories, Stationary. When I was at school I put a Tor the same as that one on my bicycle, driving the front tyre with a wooden roller. The engine hung head-downward. Declutching involved a handbrake-type lever and Bowden cable that pivoted the engine upward so the roller didn't touch. Of course it was necessary to pedal a bit from a standing start to reach a speed where the motor could be used. I won't say they were the good old days - if the road was wet I got a faceful of spray from the roller.

Hi Stationary, i have the model B as well and mine runs well but i need the original tank to make it complete. I have a excellent spare set of wheels and caps and other parts if you ever want to let the tank go . cheers Bruno
