hey , does your later auto drives have the clutch handle like the 550 ? have a clutch cable off one here, also a diff off one (diff is different to my mk1 auto drive) still chasing bits for it.
the cable and diff are yours if you can use them as they were given to me through the site

just had a look at the rear drive gear set up they are different to you pic so probly no good

Not sure if they are the same I haven't had a lot to do with 550's.I would imagine they would be longer.

Hi tomo4192 after going through some of my books here.I'm not sure that there would be much different's if any between the Auto drive and the 550 cable.Do you or can you take some pictures of it? Also just measure the length please? If there is any different's I reckon it would only be the length.
Also with the Mark III rear drive part I have found the spring so the only part I do need is the cir-clip. As I defiantly don't have one of those.

Cool I'll wait and hopefully I can still get to it as I had to move the mowers as the mower room flooded late yesterday.

Just need to add a part to the list of parts needed for the Mark III.Took them outside today to take some pictures and noticed that the Mark III handles are beyond repair. So now I need some handles now.I guess I may be able to use VC-160 bottoms but would need either Mark I,II or III tops.

Not getting a lot of success with this topic but I'll keep trying.I have found the Mark III cooling cowl I had on a spare engine for another restore. So I can use that one and maybe by the time I get to that project I can find another one,but I will use it for this one first.

Whoops I have made a mistake I do still need a cooling cowl as on the weekend I relized I don't have one for my VC-160 mark III so I will have to use it for that one. As soon I will be putting it together as the restore on it is nearing completion.

Not doing real well here in finding the parts I need. For my mark I,I need a fuel tank (Green) not the black one.As I have found out it is suppose to have the green one.It currently has the black on.

Yes it's not as deep,as the gear box lays under the tank.

Especially the first Auto Drive it took me nearly 2 years to find one that was worth getting. Most of the ones I seen before it really were not very good.I was looking at one point in getting two and making one out of 2 and a half of them.As I had half of one at that time.Yes it take take me a while to get them.I still have a bit of work on getting the mark III going as it still isn't quite complete, but I would like to get some more parts to it,as god knows how long it's been since it was running and I'd really like to get it running soon before the seize monster comes and settles in it.

No don't do that as the mark I is the hardest of all 4 to find.

Still no luck.
I have been looking hard for some time and can't find one for you mate, sorry. (And me).
It's weird I am finding Victa rotomo's everywhere but I can't find a single VC auto drive.
Maybe if I look for a rotomo I migh find a vc auto drive. Lol
