I know it is probably a long shot but I am after the rubber for the pull start handle from the wire rope starter like pictured below, I'm not after something for nothing so if someone has one that they do not require I would be prepaired to pay, also after a thumb screw type nut and bolt from the edger cover for a model 4 also, same deal applies. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2013/07/full-6801-11640-wire_pull_start_handle.jpg)

what about using the old one as a pattern, making a mould and pouring one out of polyurethane? A similar process is used by chainsaw collectors to make pull starter handles.

Yeah I did think of the poly but making the mould is the hardest part as most poly moulds are machined so they can be taken apart to get the peice out and have to be able to withstand the heat from the oven, I also dont have one at all to even go off, but one may turn up just have to wait and see.

Blue, YES! VCCOMM, I would not ask you to risk damaging yours by taking it off, just on the off chance it tore, not yet anyway but thankyou very much for the gesture that just goes to show the quality of people on here.

And yes vccomm wire rope, most have the groove worn in them or at least some wear.I olny have two and lucky enough that the wear is still only in the replacable inner guide were the wire comes out of the outter.
