The Peerless VST 205, including VST 205-205-025C, was sold as not serviceable in the field, and I do not believe there is a service manual. There is just a one page parts list, showing external parts only. Not even dealers were allowed to dismantle them. A diagnostic guide was provided to determine whether a replacement or changeover transmission was required. It is at pages numbered 120 and 121 (that is, the last two pages of the book) here:

There were conversion kits for fitting LTH in place of VST. From a cursory reading of the literature it seems to me that the VST was not a great success.
