Hi all, i'm a new member and look forward to using this web site. I have a Suffolk cylinder mower that I will one day restore, but my first project is to restore a Victa 18 Special that I just purchased. I look forward to gaining heaps of information from this site, and hopefully I can contribute as well. My first question is what is the bore size of the 125cc motor. I want to buy a ring set and I don't know if mine is a standard bore or not. I took the head of and it measures 2.18 inches with a vernier. The piston has a slight amount of movement, but the bore is immaculate, with no wear evident. Hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks in advance.

OK thanks for that. I searched on google for about an hour and couldn't get the bore size.

Hi AusVicV8, and a warm welcome to the forum, and it's always great to have another Victa 18 Special owner on board. Can you please upload some pics of your machine, including the numbers stamped on the crankcase (carby side) we may then be able to give you some info as to model identification. (There are subtle differences). wink
