is the nut on a 160 2stroke Victa left or right thread What size socket needed ,also to get a spark do i need the blade rotor on also whats the point gap on same please.or are points fixed, graham

The nut is either 15/16 or 1" pretty sure its 15/16

You dont need the blade plate on for it to spark but you do need it for it to run

The points gap is .685mm or .027" and timing is 3mm BTDC on some full crank models timing is fixed however.

Re flywheel nut 0n a 160 victa ,i have been trying to day to get nut loose,but have had people passing by saying that it left hand thread so im all mixed up stop hitting in case im going wrong way ,,Do you have manuals on line? does the nut have a tappered base on it ,what makes me wonder is that i have a old victa ahere some one has had a cold chisel to it and trying to remove nut like hitting the nut in a left hand way thanks graham
