Long time since I visited the site. But I have a question that I hope someone could answer.
Many years ago I bought a small trimmer from a store in Warriewood which I think has now closed. I believe it was a Hanimex model and I have used it for the past 30 odd years in NSW and now the Gold Coast.
The clutch housing had broken off where the stand used to bolt to. No major problem, I just have to rest the trimmer on the motor now.
I was wondering if anyone on this site knows of this brand? Was it a one off model?
It has served me well over the years and after just servicing it again it still runs well. Would be nice to know if any manuals or details about this model exist.

If you upload a photo I could probably match it to a similar make, hanimex wouldnt have made them originally, but they may have rebranded them from something much more common that could be used for parts.

it looks a lot like a kawasaki

i think its simmiler to a td18 maybe i cant remember the exact model

Had a search on the TD 18 and I dont think it a Kawasaki.
Hanimex made small outboard motors way back and I reckon its out of that stable.
Guess I'll never really resolve what it is.
I just remembered the shop in Warriewood, it was Pride Mowers.

Looks a lot like an echo to me, I just nicked the air filter off one at the tip today and bought a much newer one... I'll see of there is something similar here or have a look at the one at the tip when I get a chance
