I finally bought an ignition module for my tilt a cut but it is a bit different my old one is riveted by two rivets and quite big with one wire going to the coil and from there it goes to the kill switch, my new one has one rivet and a spade bit so could I use this module if I cut the single wire and pop a female spade bit on it?

Mine is the top one but my replacement one is the bottom

Hello Micheal, yes, as you said above, if your original module is proven to be faulty, cut it off, crimp and solder a new female spade terminal on there.
