I am talking about the chain oil tank air vent. When I removed the breather tube to clean/check it - the air end terminating self-tapping screw was fairly tightly engaged in the tube. I bought the machine new 4 yrs ago from an authorised dealer - no one has touched the breather assembly since it left the factory in Japan.
Anyway, the fun is on to find a reasonably-priced replacement oil pump set on the net - I suspect that Husqvarna-Zenoah has tied up spare parts availability to very few outlets. It is always difficult to locate independent suppliers for Zenoah parts.
