Cool you got it well done.Engine number doesn't sound like the original engine. It sounds more like a Model 5 engine. If you do decide to scrap it I'll put my hand up for the toe ring.I don't have nearly anywhere near enough.Don't know why but I just can't get my hands on them.

Yay!!! you got her. What a little beastie.you gonna scrap it?.Awwww.
Jumps on Blumbly's head* Im closer gimmeee the toe ring Lols.
Yeah as Blumbly says the engine is definately a model 5 and by the number id say almost the last ever made. When the sequence run ended they went to letter prefixes with four digit numbers.a,aa,aaa, aaaa,ab,ac,ae and so on,But ive never seen a BB either,so its either really late or an industrial fitment.Anyways its a little beastie regardless,if you dont scrap her,see what correct bits come along in your travels and see how it goes. And remember this is the little mower who gave first life to your Sheerline,by donating her Lung....haha.

It maybe a model 5 base ring as they don't fit rotomos correctly. Don't ask why I can't figure it out. They look the same but they just don't fit properly.

the ring is realy bruised and batterd but might be savable , but the base is another story ! cracked at the rear handle mounts at the base , tried to straighten out the front as it hit a lot of things in its life and it cracked too frown . so old and soooo thin now almost nothing left . so its been played with ! What on earth have you done there? You've killed a model 3.

Oh The Horror!.Tears of unfathomable sadness stream down my face*Im totally bereft of word at the blatent destructuion and vile defacement of one of australias most famous Icons!Sacrilage....PMSL.Most Roto Bases Are Cracked at the axle mounts Vc.This is when the Tig and leadwiping come in handy.Incidently Ive never thrown out a Roto Base. But You may be forgiven this once...Only because you have yet to complete your SHED....ha ha ha....A new model for the frankenstein thread??? Good work VC,I shudder to think of what your sheerline will look like when you get it...Hot pink and wreathed in flames???? ..Naaa Im just stiring, hope you had fun with your little Beasite smile

i was just bored and sitting looking at it crazy looks a little better now though . same engine just looking for a handle mount jobby tank , might look ok then hahaha . but serious tho , it is paper thin in a lot of places , only realy good for display with a LOT of work , but gave me 2 wheels for another and some sort of carb' rubber mounted thing i never seen before ?
like an insulator ? carb' mounts to it and it mounts to the inlet! and 2 holes in the top of carb' both threaded , one blocked off

Well I hope it gets an engine close to what it should have had, as that is scarey and might give me nightmares.

Well thank goodness for that. I was starting to get tried and want to go to bed. I should be able to sleep a bit better now. If I not ill just have to thing about early mowers vc's and twins. That should get me through this.
