hi Guys

I recent got the Honda GX35 4-stroke wihipper snipper from the auction, and what i want to know is what should I do before use it? Should I bring it to the workshop to check and get it serviced bf use it or could I check it by myself(no background on this kind of stuff)?

here are the pics

I would start with some fresh 10-30w oil in the sump. You can download the gx35 manual here: http://engines.honda.com/models/model-detail/gx35

Was that at rundles auctions? I get a lot of ex council stuff from there for resale, had some good buys there.

hi Joe

It is Rundles, and there are lots of good council staff.

Hi Leo, just looking at those pictures the aircleaner cover seems to be cracked. Just wondering if it is still doing it's job and keeping the air filter firmly seated? Might be worth sussing out if there has been any dust sneaking by.
