Bought a Ryobi trimmer last summer and because of little need over winter haven't used it for a while and cant find the instruction manual.
The reel offers the option of a righ hand or left hand wind of the string and I dont know what the difference would be.
Should I wind the string LH or RH and what is the difference?

You wind the both lines in the same direction otherwise you will have issues with it coming out.

I understand that Bruce, but it gives you the option on the reel of winding both lines on a left hand rotation or a right hand rotation.

I'm wondering what difference it would make what way you go.
Will play around with it over the weekend or better still hunt for the manual
