Sorry a bit late.

Just getting into them now.

Glorius day, so I washed up a few of the girls this morning.

A green VC300 in good shape but a bit weathered. No idea on the engine.
Mayfair mulch/catch. Motor was run without oil in the fuel. Block was trashed, found another block, honed it up, just got to get it back together.
Vantage, turns over, no idea enginewise. Its in good shape but the wheels are worn.

Heres my theory. Midgets should not be allowed to buy mowers from Bunnings.
Im tipping a carless Midget property mogul had to slash his vacant block nex door, so he went to bunnings, laid down the cash, put his handles on midget way down, then pushed the mower all the way to his vacant block. Mowed it with the door down. Then pushed it home. Then threw it out in the hard rubbish.

It looks like its done stuff all work, but the wheels are bald. Weird.



Theres quite a few more. I will get to them. An ultima, a VC400 i think it is, 2 stroke was missing the head. Another green VC300 with the motor in bits. A few older Victas.

When i get to them i will post them up in here.

Do you think someone might have asked him for the wheels when he decided to scrap it, and the guy who took the wheels liked to be neat so he put on his old wheels? I would do that.

Nah. I thank maybe it has just done that much work.

Might have been the sort of yard that had nice paving all round or whatever. I imagine plastic wheels would do about 5000kms on grass. Probably only 500 on concrete.

Got this far with the mayfair.

New piston and rings.
Swapped the crank and bearings in out of the stuffed block.

Ran out of carb o-rings.
Not sure what im doing, need another fat intake tube thing. Was going to change this mower but i think i found another one, hopefully its not split.

mmm I like the rover.... something different....
