Here's another model H , this one has slotted wheels otherwise identical to my first .
I gave this a good cleanup after stripping down , noticed that there was still a bit of original paint on it , so just applied a clear gloss . Timber was only rubbed back and coated with Estapol Satin (this tin of paint must be thirty years old ), did not use any fillers Looks OK to me , works too .

G'day Al,
Slots in the wheels means it must be easier to push hey, LOL.
I can see the original paint.
Are these easy to strip down?
I like the idea of these & when one comes my way I would like to do what you have done.
I have done up around seven newer flymo's. I sharpen the 5 blades by hand and then turn the blades against the bed with a power drill on the axle using diamond grinding gel, works good.
Anyway, well done they have both come up a treat and are usable.

Hi mark and all, very easy to strip down and reaassemble , just be careful as I've found on some of them the balls in the bearings are loose , not in cages , so could easily be lost . Al

Congratulations, looks absolutely "grand".... I'm thinking of getting a "pushy" myself to add to my cylinder colection possibly a webb but not sure.. Cheers Glenn.
