Found these guys on eBay and I just had to purchase. As I have one in Brisbane as well as a Fairlight.I knew that I needed parts so I got both of them.Heres what they looked like after they got home.

As you can see very large grooves in the base. This was due to the cutting disc not being tight. After a close look I found that the hole for the cutting disc was twice as large as it should have been( was un-usable).

I mean between the two you could only make one from them, but both bases were not great.Still having talk with seller to try and get some money back as the one with the loose disc was suppose to be in safe working condition.Keep you posted.

No can only use electric bases as the way the electric motors mount.I have to pick-up another I have in Brisbane.Hopefully that base will be OK.I have kept the one with the grooves in it as it is repairable.I'll see how I go most likely will pick it up next weekend.

Yes there is my Abby girl giving it the sniff of approval. It's funny every time a new mower arrived (to form part of the collection) she would always have to smell it.What I couldn't understand is if a mower had come home and was only going to be wrecked out for parts, most of the time she wouldn't sniff it. Strange I thought, it is though she knows it was not staying long. Are dogs really that smart? I just can't figure that out.

When I was getting this ready for the move (pulling wheels & breakable parts off) everything was almost like new.The only real problem with it is a bit of corrosion under the paint so some spots of paint are lifting. Also a bit of rust on handle bars, but I guess when it's chrome and not cleaned regularly that will happen.Other than that in very good condition, will restore very easy.

I forgot to mention that when we arrived in Brisbane that I had the 400 Electric that is the one that is going to be restored. These other two are supplying the parts that will be needed for this restore. This old girl still actually works. These ones are so quite when there running.
Here are some pictures of this one to be restored:
