New to forum.
Have had this unit in for repairs, only to be told, can't access chain. Chain compartment appears to be sealed.
Can this be repaired and are there still spare parts for this machine.
Kind regards
Peter

Peter,

Below is a picture of the chain case. Note that it would be really hard to try and find part for the machine. cheers2

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for going to the trouble of posting the assembly diagram.
The unit I have appears to be a little different in that mine is pressed together and not secured by a series of nuts and bolts.
Many thanks

Peter,

It is held together by nuts and bolts they are steel rivets.

Hello M4cka04
I feel the best thing here is to draw on Bruce's industry experience.
Click on 'Spare Parts' and then phone or leave a message.

I suspect Masport no longer supports these old machines, and it
may be a trip to your local chain supplier (usually bearing companies).

Hope this helps.

HI Looking for any manuals etc for an old Masport Rotahoe 5Hp Chain Drive. Not sure if I have got it set up correctly. Also need the oil spec to top up the chain drive. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
Paul
