Hi all, I got this kawasaki edger for $60 yesterday. It has been sitting idle for a while and barely used since bought.. The fuel was left in the tank and some rusting had taken place in there so it doesnt smell good. It looks identical to the photo below.

How much are these actually worth in good condition? And what should i do to try and start it (considering the fuel is all rusty) and not sure if it has effected the rest of the engine?

Being a professional bit of gear you could probably aim for $250-300 in the right market.

As to the rusty fuel I would be tipping it out and drying the tank thouroughly to assess the condition of it, I know several people who have used electrolysis to remove the final traces of rust, I usually thouroughly flush tanks and see how they go.
