I am looking for a gear for a Dana/Foote Transaxle in an Ariens mower.
The Ariens mower is model 935005, Serial number 005918
The ariens part number for the gear is 53504900
The Dana/Foote number for the gear is 4262
Graveley part # 036388 is also the same gear.

The Foote factory had a fire a few years back and this is an obsolete part that is extremley hard to find...Any help is appreciated.

I just stumbled across your response from last august, I still have not found the gear in question, if you know where I may be able to locate one let me know.
