OOHHH look what I found....

It has no spark and an oil leak. I think the coil is U/S as the points seemed to be like new...to investigate further and will post on another forum thread like engines? Mods please advise...I will chase up parts etc. from there as well I think. Eng# TVM140 70370K SER 12660

I was hoping it had a briggs on it, but no such luck...the mice had nested under the air cowling too. Pumped the tyres up and wheeled her out of a shearing shed....Might use it to keep the new clay target area clear of grass for easy pick up of rubbish..

Yeah I'm pretty chuffed with it, I guess you'll see a bit of the motor re-build in the appropriate forum! and then a few happy snaps on the finished going mower on this post. Never messed with 4 strokes under 5.0L much

It lives!!!! Swapped over a coil, then a condenser, then still no spark!!! finally swapped the lot and put the points in a old Kirby 2 stroke phelon unit and wahla it lives! No blue smoke, and left wheelie marks on the concrete! but the carb needs a kit as it left a stain of fuel on the shed floor overnight. It should be a good rebuild prospect!

Mods feel free to close this thread now, engine rebuild will be posted at a later time in rebuilds....
