a rule of thumb I have always used: never
give over half the price of a new comparable
unit. Inquire at dealers for this info.
Check for wear in the steering, if there is
a lot of slack it probably has been used too
much, forget it. Is the paint still good and
shiney like it has been inside all its life?
Look at the tires for wear, mower tires dont
wear very fast, so if they are worn much at
all it has lots of hours running time.
Run the blades and check for vibration and
look at the blades and belts for wear. All these things cost money to replace or repair.
