I have a B&S 130202 5HP engine that I want to replace the points in. How do you take off the Starter recoil clutch assembly. Does it pull off or unscrew? A generic engine manual says to use a special tool to remove it. Do you need this tool or can you use something else? The Clutch assembly has a square cap that the starter assembly slides over.

You can use a big pair of pliers and a belt to hold the flywheel from turning and UNSCREW the clutch.
